The DNC watch party at the Kress was a success in bringing together local dems who aren’t always comfortable cheering or conveying their support for Kamala Harris in public. We were energized, standing, clapping, cheering and chanting. And we all heard the message of what it will take for her to win, doing something!

Because the potluck and camaraderie were so good, some like the idea of a Debate Watch gathering Tuesday, September 10th. We can become better informed, discuss and be part of history in the making together. If you’re interested in attending and/or helping to make it happen, please complete this form to let us know. We’d like to get a potential head count by Tuesday the 27th which gives us 2 weeks until debate night to plan.

The watch party was also an opportunity for local candidates to meet potential supporters and voters. We all know the importance of down ballot campaigning and voting and the grassroots effort it takes. Weld, like many other counties, protects your privacy by not sharing your email address. However, we understand how helpful it would be for candidates and campaigns to email you with updates and information about volunteering. if you would like your local candidates to contact you, or if you would like information about ballot measures, please use use this form to let us know.
