We have a number of active climate organizations in Northern Colorado including Citizens Climate Lobby, Climate Reality Project, Colorado 350, Colorado Coalition for a Livable Climate, local sustainability organizations (e.g. Longmont, Fort Collins, Windsor, and others), and a handful of other organizations. Working together, we continue to influence positive change in the climate crisis.

We are planning on a “meetup” for all of these organizations on September 16 at Centennial Park in Loveland from 12 Noon to 5 PM.  Last year’s event had over 80 attendees — and it was a great afternoon with lots of networking and climate discussions.  This year we are expecting over 100 – but we will see.  We are currently finalizing the agenda with speakers including Patricia Garcia-Nelson from Green Latinos and Scott Denning (CSU professor and one of the leading global experts on climate change).
